H. Acharya is…

H. Acharya of Bhubaneshwar, prolific commenter at Lies about the Lives of Sri Aurobindo, has entered into a dialogue with Well-wishers of Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Subhanallah! Hallelujah!

We are now waiting with bated breath for a single undisputed and unquestionable reference or instance where he has found that Peter Heehs has maligned Sri Aurobindo.

Meanwhile we have a question. In his Essays Divine and Human (p. 490), Sri Aurobindo wrote:

The seeker after divine knowledge finds in the description of Krishna stealing the robes of the Gopis one of the deepest parables of God’s ways with the soul, the devotee a perfect rendering in divine act of his heart’s mystic experiences, the prurient & the Puritan (two faces of one temperament) only a lustful story. Men bring what they have in themselves and see it reflected in the Scripture.

By the same token,

The seeker after divine knowledge finds in the description of The Mother holding hands with Sri Aurobindo one of the deepest expressions of the love of the Divine Shakti for the Ishwara, the devotee a perfect rendering in divine act of his heart’s mystic experiences, the prurient & the Puritan (two faces of one temperament) only a denigration of Sri Aurobindo. Men bring what they have in themselves and see it reflected in The Lives of Sri Aurobindo.

Here is our question:
